Rubbing Plates are sets of flexible, textured plastic plates that can be used to transfer designs to fabrics (with paintsticks), polymer and ceramic clays, papers and more! The photos below show rubbings made from each of the sets of plates. (The plates are shiny plastic, and very difficult to photograph.) Be sure to try making rubbings from both sides of the plates. Sometimes, the back is more interesting than the front!
